Author means Aplitech software s.r.o., ID 27669513, located in Jihlava, Czech Republic. User means any individual or legal entity that installs or uses the Software. Software means the WinTagEnter application including all updates, components and licensing mechanisms.
The Author grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software in accordance with this EULA. This license is granted, not sold. All copyrights remain with the Author.
The Free version is intended for testing the Software and is bound to a specific PC. It cannot be transferred to another device.
Paid licenses are bound to PC + user email, number of allowed tags, number of users on the PC, and number of activated PCs. The User may deactivate any activated device and replace it with a new one, provided the maximum number of allowed activations is not exceeded. A retired device cannot be reactivated.
WinTagEnter enables unlocking Windows using RFID/NFC tags through a modified Windows Credential Provider. The Software stores login credentials only locally on the User's device, encrypted using DPAPI. The Author never sends or stores login credentials on any servers.
The Software does not include or provide any hardware. The User is responsible for selecting and maintaining compatible hardware. The Author provides no warranty of compatibility with specific devices, drivers, firmware or Windows versions. The Free version is intended for compatibility testing. Hardware incompatibility is not grounds for a refund.
The User may not modify, decompile or reverse engineer the Software, bypass licensing mechanisms, use the Software for unauthorized access, or distribute it without the Author's consent.
The Author may provide updates, fixes or new versions. Some features may be changed or removed.
The Software includes third-party components licensed under the MIT License. Their licenses are provided in the file THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt included with the installation.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties. The Author is not liable for data loss, hardware incompatibility, Windows changes, incorrect configuration, or inability to use the Software. The User must verify functionality before purchasing a paid license.
The Author processes only data necessary for the operation of the Software and the licensing system.
The Software stores only Windows login credentials (encrypted via DPAPI), tag configuration and settings. This data never leaves the device.
Only PC ID, license ID, activation email and technical data required for license verification are sent. Passwords, Windows login credentials, tags and personal data of Windows users are never sent.
Payment data is processed only by the third-party payment gateway. The Author does not store payment data.
Contract performance, legitimate interest, user consent during activation.
The User has the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object and data portability.
The license terminates automatically upon violation of this EULA. The User must uninstall the Software.
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be resolved by the competent court.
By installing or using the Software, the User confirms that they have read, understood and agree to this EULA. If the User does not agree, they must not install or use the Software.
